A simple yet delicious Bisquick Coffee Cake with a crunchy brown sugar topping, perfect for cozy mornings.

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round or square baking pan to ensure your cake doesn’t stick.
  2. Mix the Bisquick mix, sugar, milk, vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  4. Make the topping by mixing the brown sugar and chopped nuts (if using), then sprinkle it over the batter.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
