Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup Biscoff spread
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (for frosting)
  • 1/4 cup Biscoff spread (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Warm the Milk and Butter: In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until just warm. Whisk in the egg until well blended.
  3. Create the Dough: Pour the warm milk mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix everything until a dough begins to form.
  4. Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  5. Let the Dough Rise: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  6. Roll Out the Dough: Once your dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle. Spread a generous layer of Biscoff spread all over the surface, then sprinkle on the cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Shape the Rolls: Roll the dough tightly away from you, creating a log. Use a sharp knife to cut it into 12 equal rolls.
  8. Second Rise: Cover the rolls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake to Perfection: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until they are golden brown.
  10. Make the Frosting: While your rolls bake, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and Biscoff spread in a bowl until smooth.
  11. Drizzle and Serve: Once the rolls are out of the oven, drizzle the frosting over them while they are still warm.
