A lighter, refreshing take on the classic Big Mac flavors, transformed into a wholesome salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper and draining excess fat.
  2. Mix the chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced onion in a large bowl.
  3. Prepare the dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard in a small bowl.
  4. Combine the cooked ground beef with the salad mixture.
  5. Dress the salad with the creamy dressing and toss everything together until well combined.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute the meat with black beans or lentils. Keep dressing separate if storing leftovers.
