  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional for added brightness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. Whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Add lemon juice if using.
  4. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl or a zip-top bag, and pour the marinade over. Toss to coat.
  5. Place the coated chicken thighs on a rimmed baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
