A refreshing and comforting dessert bursting with juicy berries and topped with a buttery, cake-like crust.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the berries with 1/4 cup of sugar and set aside.
  3. Combine the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Spoon the berries evenly over the batter; do not stir.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes until the top is golden brown and the berries are bubbling.
  7. Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
