A delicious and satisfying meal featuring seasoned beef, melted cheese, and fresh toppings wrapped in a warm tortilla.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 large tortilla
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add taco seasoning and follow package instructions.
  3. Warm the tortilla in a separate pan or microwave.
  4. Layer seasoned beef, cheese, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and sour cream on the tortilla.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly.
  6. Optional: Grill the burrito in the skillet until the tortilla is golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Slice in half and serve.

Notes

For a healthier option, use lean ground beef. You can also experiment with different cheeses and add more vegetables.
