A comforting dish of tender beef in a creamy sauce served over egg noodles, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced beef and cook until browned; remove from skillet.
  3. Add onions and garlic to the same skillet; sauté until softened.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until they release moisture.
  5. Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat and mix in sour cream. Return beef to the skillet and heat through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve over noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free noodles and ensure the broth and Worcestershire sauce are gluten-free.
