A comforting Beef and Broccoli stir-fry that unites tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl to create a delicious marinade. Add the sliced beef, ensuring each piece is coated well. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Introduce the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and toss everything to combine.
