A comforting beef and broccoli stir-fry dish that’s hearty, quick, and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef stew meat, cut into chunks
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing the beef stew meat with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the hot skillet and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic to the pan and stir for another 30 seconds.
  5. Toss in the broccoli florets, add a splash of water, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Season the stir-fry with salt, pepper, and optional oyster sauce.
  7. Serve the Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry hot over cooked rice.
