A delightful combination of juicy chicken, tangy barbecue sauce, and melted cheese served on crispy flatbread.

  • 2 each flatbreads
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken breast
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Brush each flatbread lightly with olive oil to create a golden base.
  3. Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the flatbreads, ensuring each bite will be flavorful.
  4. Distribute shredded chicken breast over the sauce, making sure to cover every inch.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the chicken, followed by the thinly sliced red onion for a pop of flavor.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to enhance the flavors.
  7. Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and edges are golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro. Slice into pieces and serve immediately.
