  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk (for pudding)
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • Nilla wafers

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the vanilla cake mix according to package instructions. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. Poke holes all over the cooled cake using a fork.
  3. Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup of regular milk in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Pour the milk mixture over the entire cake, ensuring it is coated.
  5. Mix the instant vanilla pudding with 2 cups of milk and whisk until it begins to thicken slightly.
  6. Spread the thickened pudding over the cake.
  7. Top with whipped topping, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  8. Garnish with fresh banana slices and Nilla wafers on top.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For a twist, consider using chocolate or butterscotch pudding instead of vanilla.
