A nostalgic dessert combining layers of silky pudding, ripe bananas, and a sweet cream cheese mixture for a delightful treat.

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 package (12 oz) vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Whisk the pudding mix and milk together until smooth.
  2. Cream the cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy, then fold in the whipped topping.
  3. Start layering the vanilla wafers, banana slices, pudding mixture, and cream cheese mixture in a trifle dish.
  4. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream cheese mixture on top.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce on top of the last layer.
  6. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For added freshness, layer the bananas right before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
