Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or flank)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • Vegetables for skewering (optional, such as bell peppers, onions, or cherry tomatoes)

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the steak to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Thread the marinated steak and optional vegetables onto the skewers.
  7. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  8. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
