A delightful blend of creamy cheesecake and the festive flavors of baklava, featuring layers of nuts and honey syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until crumbly. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time into the cream cheese mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the chopped walnuts and sprinkle in the cinnamon.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for about 50 minutes, until the center is set.
  8. Combine honey and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  9. Drizzle your honey mixture over the top of the cheesecake while still warm.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
