Comforting baked dumplings filled with chicken and vegetables, perfect for family meals or gatherings.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley, thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in the milk and melted butter until a dough forms.
  4. Mix the chicken, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh herbs in another bowl.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  6. Place a spoonful of the filling on each square, fold, and seal the edges.
  7. Arrange the dumplings on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken to save time. Pair with a dipping sauce for extra flavor.
