A delightful brunch staple featuring smoked salmon layered with creamy cheese and fresh vegetables, perfect for lazy weekends.

Ingredients

  • 2 Bagels
  • 4 oz Smoked salmon (lox)
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Capers
  • 1 Red onion (sliced)
  • 1 Tomato (sliced)
  • 1 Cucumber (sliced)
  • Fresh dill (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Slice and toast the bagels if desired.
  2. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each half of the bagel.
  3. Layer slices of smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese.
  4. Add slices of red onion, tomato, and cucumber.
  5. Sprinkle with capers and fresh dill if using.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store components separately for up to 2 days for bagels and 3 days for smoked salmon and cream cheese.
