A classic breakfast choice with crispy bacon, a creamy cheese slice, and a perfectly cooked egg, all on a warm bagel.

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. In the same skillet, cook the egg to your liking (scrambled, fried, or poached). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Toast the bagel halves.
  4. Assemble by placing the cooked bacon on the bottom half of the bagel, followed by the egg, and then the cheese.
  5. If desired, cover with the top half of the bagel and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add herbs or spices to the egg while cooking. Experiment with different cheeses and bagel types.
