A tasty and healthy meal option that’s quick and easy to prepare, featuring ground chicken wrapped in crispy lettuce leaves.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water chestnuts, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for wrapping

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in garlic, bell pepper, and water chestnuts, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Spoon the chicken mixture into individual lettuce leaves, wrap, and serve.
