A delightful blend of moist, apple-infused bread swirled with rich cheesecake, topped with a crunchy oat crisp.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Peel, core, and dice the apples, then set aside.
  3. Beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until combined.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to your creamy blend, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the diced apples carefully.
  8. In a small bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  9. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, then add dollops of the cheesecake mixture and swirl.
  10. Pour remaining batter on top and finish with the oat mixture.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
  12. Allow the loaf to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store leftovers tightly wrapped in foil or plastic wrap at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, slice and freeze the bread for up to 2 months.
