A delightful dessert that combines creamy cheesecake with sweet and tart apples, perfect for any celebration.

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar in a mixing bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese in another bowl until smooth. Gradually add the remaining sugar and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until blended. Pour cheesecake filling over the crust.
  5. Combine sliced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar in a separate bowl. Layer the apple mixture over the cheesecake filling.
  6. Sprinkle nuts on top if using.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
  8. Cool in the pan before removing the sides of the springform pan and serving.

Notes

Serve chilled, optionally topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. For longer storage, wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
