A simple yet delicious American Buttercream Frosting that elevates any dessert into a celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter in a large mixing bowl until creamy and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add the powdered sugar gradually, mixing on low speed.
  3. Pour in the vanilla extract and add 2 tablespoons of milk, then beat on high speed for about 3 minutes.
  4. Use your freshly made buttercream frosting immediately for best results.

Notes

For a chocolate version, add cocoa powder. Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
